About YRC
Youth Red Cross (YRC) is part of the International Red Cross Organisation, founded in 1863 by Jean Henry Dunant. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, it is a non-religious, non-political, and non-sectarian body committed to humanitarian services. The organization operates globally on seven fundamental principles:

Objectives
- Imparting discipline and character formation.

YRC at M.S.B Arts and Commerce College
The Youth Red Cross Unit at M.S.B Arts and Commerce College, Davanagere, registered under the Karnataka State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society, was established in 2012–13. It is a key avenue for students under the Personality and Character Development Programme.
Our YRC volunteers have actively organized Blood Donation Camps, Health Awareness Programmes, and contributed to Flood and Earthquake Relief Funds sent to the Prime Minister’s and Chief Minister’s Relief Funds.
